Jenni Bells and the Bay Veterans Foundation are partnering to offer a four-week basic sewing class beginning on May 2, 2023, from 10-12 p.m. The class will take place at the Veterans Workshop and Learning Center, located at 1009 N. Madison Avenue, Bay City, MI 48708. The four-week class will cover the basics of sewing, including how to use a sewing machine, how to read patterns, and how to sew basic garments. At the end of the class, each student will walk away with a homemade shop or kitchen apron of their choice. The class is open to all the public, but Veterans will take priority. The cost is $40.00 per veteran student and $50.00 per public student. Sewing is a great way to express creativity and to learn a new skill. We are grateful to Jenni Bells owner, Jennifer Kolodziejski, for her support. For more information, please view the flyer below. About Jenni Bells
Jenni Bells is about looking at how much life is left in that old pair of jeans. We upcycle second-hand jeans using a 60’s and 70’s inspired flare. Our jeans and materials are acquired from local thrift, second-hand and charity shops, rummage sales and discounted vintage fabric stores. By purchasing our materials from our local area, we are giving back to our community. Along with helping to reduce less waste in our landfills and minimizing our footprint. Going Green, by upcycling one’s trash into another’s treasure. Visit her website by click here. Comments are closed.
