Volunteer

Volunteer for the Bay Veterans Foundation

BVF is looking for men and women veterans of all ages, from all branches, and of all eras. If you would like to help develop and participate in the Bay Area Veterans Work Shop & Learning Center, please complete our online volunteer form or download a printable version below.

BVF is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with the mission of “Helping Veterans Help Themselves”.

Responsible for the Battery Park Renovation Project and the Michigan Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, we are now working to construct the Veterans Workshop and Learning Center. This space will provide an area for veterans needing support, camaraderie, more productive use of time and opportunity to transition back into the community. In addition, veterans can learn (or teach) woodworking, use of CNC machines, laser engravers, etc., in a safe welcoming environment. If you know how to operate equipment, perhaps you would be willing to mentor others.

There’s a lot we can do for each other and a lot we can do for the community.

If you are not a veteran, but interested in volunteering, please complete the applicable information.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SOLD OR SHARED.
